During the regular season, the WVS rehearses on stage at Ashbrook Independent School in Corvallis, Oregon (link to Google Maps).

Reference Recordings

Listening to good recordings of works is one of the best ways to learn a new piece of music. Players are encouraged to obtain recordings for reference purposes and to enrich their own music libraries. Most pieces can be purchased and downloaded through ITunes, Amazon, Classical Archives, and many other retailers. YouTube can also be an excellent resource. Click here for playlists and recommended recordings.

Concert Attire for Performers

Women:
PERFORMANCES: Concert black (long- or 3/4-sleeve black blouses, black or grey nylons, black slacks or long skirts, black shoes). NO open-toed shoes or sandals.

Men:
PERFORMANCES: Concert black (black suit or tuxedo: black coat, long-sleeve white shirt, black slacks, black shoes, and black bow tie).

Dress rehearsals are not concert dress.
