History

The Willamette Valley Symphony owes its existence to the inspiration and leadership of its founding director, Dr. Sean Paul Mills.  Its origins sprang from a simple call for all area musicians interested in playing in a new community orchestra to meet in January of 2008.  A full orchestra of musicians answered the call and performed the first concert of the Willamette Valley Community Orchestra in March of 2008.  In 2010 the orchestra officially changed its name to the Willamette Valley Symphony.

The Willamette Valley Symphony currently produces a series of five concert sets annually for the benefit of all residents of our community.  Currently the orchestra performs in both Corvallis and Albany.
