History

The Willamette Valley Symphony owes its existence to the inspiration and leadership of Sean Paul Mills.  Its origins sprang from a simple call for all area musicians interested in playing in a new community orchestra to meet in January of 2008.  A full orchestra of musicians answered the call and performed the first concert of the Willamette Valley Community Orchestra in March of 2008.  In 2010 the orchestra officially changed its name to the Willamette Valley Symphony.

Since its inception the Willamette Valley Symphony has produced a series of four concerts annually for the benefit of all residents of our community.  Currently the orchestra performs each concert in both Albany and Corvallis.

Our history may be short but our future promises to be a long and successful one. Please check back as our future unfolds!
